Come out and enjoy our events for families with children of all ages, meet new friends and reconnect with old ones! This winter and spring we will enjoy the great indoors with swimming, bowling and roller skating. Rainbow Families Email List Update

Rainbow Families is moving its email list to a Yahoo! group. With the new web based list, you will be able to see our calendar of upcoming events online, plus you can easily change your subscription to the emails as you see fit - in digest form, web only, or just like it was always done. It gives one the opportunity to go back and look at archived messages as well. This move also allows us to incorporate some other features for the future, like pictures, polls, links to other places and much more.

Meet Ups

In addition to our regular events, we will also be announcing "meet ups" on the website and on the email list. Meet- ups are shout outs to get together at a certain place and time like the zoo, aquarium, etc. At meet-up events everyone is responsible for their own food and admission costs if applicable. These type of informal events will give the steering committee some flexibility in planning larger events and other activities, rather than using resources to put together a large scale event each month. Already many members do informal neighborhood meet ups through the Rainbow Families list, and we encourage you to keep making those connection, too!

Welcome all new members of the steering committee! We look forward to the new energy you bring to our organization. The steering committee organizes events and keeps in contact with membership. If you are a budgeter, database person, general organizer, or just someone who likes to be there and help out, why not contribute your skills to Rainbow Families?
